2018 Types of Rides
All the rides have plenty of rest stops so you can ride light, and as fast or casual as you like! Sag support is available if you need it. There will be some changes to the routes and maps in the upcoming weeks – so check back often!
Full Century (99 Miles)
This route takes in as much of the Rogue River as possible. All the rest stops for this route are on the beautiful and scenic river so bring your camera, you might see bald Eagles soaring over the river or nesting in a tree along the river. This route has 5 rest stops for refueling and taking in the scenic river. Lunch is provided for riders on this route
Metric Century (62 Miles)
This route is just a shorter version of the Century route with 3 rest stops along the Rogue River. Lunch will be provided for riders on this route.
Forty Mile (40 Miles)
This is a shorter version of the metric route with 1 rest stop on the Rogue River. We recommend buying a meal ticket and having a late lunch at Palmerton Park after the ride, while listening to the sounds of the band. Maybe even buying a beer for you and your friends.
Twenty Mile (19.6 Miles)
This route goes to Gold Hill, crosses over the Rogue River before heading north back to Rogue River and finishing at Palmerton Park.
All Rides begin and end at Palmerton Park.
Mountain Bike Ride 2018
To celebrate the TEN year anniversary of Ride the Rogue we are adding a Mountain Bike Option! This 20 mile loop journeys through the paved bike path along the Rogue River through Valley of the Rogue State Park. The path leads you to the newly developed “MOTR” mountain bike park and 10 miles of epic Southern Oregon mountain biking! This off road ride offers challenging climbs with fast flowing down hills and “flow” trails that will thrill even the most experienced mountain biker. The trail offers outstanding views that grow larger the higher you climb. From the top of the mountain, there is a nearly 360 degree panoramic view of nearby Table Rocks, the Rogue River, Mount McLoughlin, the Cascade Mountain Range leading to Crater Lake, and much of the Rogue Valley! After you take in the views and have caught your breath, get ready for 5 miles of thrilling descents back to the main route. Options will be provided to take in more of the park to enhance the Mountain Bike experience.
