Speed on the Greenway
We’ve had queries about ebike use and the speeds some of them attain.
We are working on the issue of some users of the Greenway not respecting the other users and one of the biggest concerns is speed. As you can imagine, enforcing a speed limit is going to be pretty tough. We are currently working with Jackson County and State Parks to get signage installed to help educate and remind users of proper behavior to ensure everyone enjoys the Greenway and stays safe. We also are looking at options for temporary signs to be used during our Ride the Rogue event to try to encourage safe use of the Greenway.
Please feel free to continue to share any concerns you may have. We can only ask for patience since we are a volunteer group and we are working with the local jurisdictions to get the safety concerns addressed.
